Anthony McCall: Drawing with Light

Anthony McCall has carved a unique position in contemporary art by bridging the gaps between the cinematic, the sculptural and the pictorial with his extraordinary 'solid light films'. These are immersive installations made by drawing in real space with projected light. The Adam Art Gallery has invited the artist to use its striking architecture to present his work for the first time in New Zealand. This is being held in conjunction with the New Zealand International Arts Festival.
